Hi, I am Kathy.

We take pictures to record our personal vision of the world, and I like my pictures to tell a story. I like my pictures to tell the world that I was there, living in the moment, enjoying life and appreciating the experience and the world around me. Some of my pictures are taken with my cell phone camera, most are taken with my "good " cameras, but every picture on my site was taken by ME! I'd always enjoyed taking pictures, and now it's a hobby and a passion.

Everyone in my family is creative and artistic. My mom makes incredible quilts, my uncle builds amazing birdhouses, my brother is a great cook, and my gramma drew and painted beautifully. Photography is all about creativity, finding a way to share the beauty of the world in a way that someone may not have seen it before.

I was born and raised in Chicago, and moved to south Florida in 1990. Florida is naturally photogenic, with so much unique and beautiful scenery. I hope you enjoy what you see on my website, in both Florida and beyond!
